30 MINUTE YOGA ASANA ROUTINE FOR FREEDIVERS
This 30 minute follow-along routine is carefully designed to cover to most essential elements of flexibility and mobility for freedivers.

30 MINUTE YOGA ASANA ROUTINE FOR FREEDIVERS
I don’t believe there is such a thing as ‘yoga for freediving’, since yoga is a psychospiritual discipline aimed at bringing about profound transformation in the practitioner. It cannot be separated from or applied to anything.
Of course, if you have more than a superficial understanding of yoga, you know this already.
However, the asana, the physical/postural exercises of hatha yoga, can be targeted to the specific needs of the freediver.
By removing so many forward bends, and focusing on chest opening and rotational postures we can cover the most important stretches of the freediver, embedding them inside our asana practice.
This is a 30 minute routine, ideal for everyday practice. A shorter routine allows more time for advanced stretching for freediving and other yoga elements like kriya and pranayama.
For those who have time, or need a deeper routine, the 75 minute version is available to Patreon supporters at:
